Karly is the Founder and Owner of Apple Tree Mortgage Services, which she has successfully grown and led for the past six years. With over 21 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Karly brings exceptional knowledge, leadership, and a genuinely person-centred approach to everything she does.
She began her career in the insurance sector, building a strong foundation in protection and long-term financial planning, before qualifying as a Mortgage Broker in 2010. Alongside advising, Karly progressed into management, where she successfully led and developed a team of mortgage advisers. This combination of hands-on advising and senior leadership has given her a deep, well-rounded understanding of the industry and the highest standards of advice and client care.
Karly also specialises in Equity Release and later-life lending. She understands that these decisions are often significant and emotional, and she is passionate about ensuring clients and their families feel fully informed, supported, and never pressured. Karly takes the time to carefully explore all options, clearly explain the implications, and provide advice that aligns with each client’s long-term plans and wellbeing.
At the heart of Apple Tree is Karly’s belief that mortgage advice should be clear, honest, and human. She is deeply committed to ensuring every client feels listened to, supported, and confident in their decisions, and she takes great pride in creating a business culture that reflects those same values. Based in Botley, Southampton, Karly lives with her husband Lee, daughter Maria, and their boxer dog, Tizzy. Working from her home-based office, Karly is able to offer face-to-face appointments for local clients, alongside a fully remote service for clients across the UK.
Jessica Weaire
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Jessica brings over 11 years’ experience in the finance industry and is known for her exceptionally caring, attentive approach to client service.
She began her career in the banking sector with Lloyds Bank, where she provided unsecured lending and general banking support, building strong foundations in financial advice and customer care. After qualifying as a Mortgage Adviser in 2015, Jessica moved into the brokerage environment, initially working on the administration and case progression side before progressing into a full advisory role. This end-to-end experience has given her a thorough understanding of the mortgage process and the importance of clear communication at every stage.
Jessica now joins the team as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, bringing a calm, supportive style and a genuine commitment to helping clients feel listened to, reassured, and well supported throughout their mortgage journey. She takes pride in offering tailored advice that reflects each client’s individual needs and circumstances.
Based in Romsey, Hampshire, Jessica lives with her husband Luke, their beautiful baby boy Austin, and their big ginger cat, Oscar. Working from home, Jessica offers a fully remote service to clients across the UK, combining flexibility with a highly personal level of care.
Suzanne Duce
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Suzanne brings extensive experience across financial services, estate agency, and the mortgage industry, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the full property and lending journey.
She began her career in financial services, spending six years with a corporate insurance company, where she developed a strong foundation in client care, compliance, and protection planning. Suzanne then moved into estate agency, working for five years and gaining invaluable insight into the buying and selling process from the front line.
Suzanne later transitioned into the mortgage industry, initially working as a Mortgage Administrator and Processor, where she supported both estate agents and mortgage advisors, managing cases from application through to completion. This hands-on experience allowed her to build a detailed understanding of lender requirements, case progression, and the importance of proactive communication. In early 2022, she achieved her CeMAP qualification, progressing into her role as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor.
Known for her organised, efficient approach and strong attention to detail, Suzanne is passionate about ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their mortgage journey.
Based in Locks Heath, Southampton, Suzanne lives with her two daughters. She offers a fully remote service to clients nationwide, providing flexible, responsive support wherever clients are based.
Lee Langridge
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Lee brings over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and is widely regarded for his exceptional client care, consistently receiving outstanding recommendations from clients who value his personal, attentive approach.
He began his career in the insurance industry in 2004, developing a strong grounding in protection and long-term financial planning, before qualifying as a Mortgage Adviser in 2014. Since then, Lee has built extensive knowledge of the mortgage market and lender criteria, and is known for his ability to handle a wide range of mortgage enquiries — from straightforward purchases to more complex cases — with confidence and clarity.
Lee prides himself on taking the time to truly understand each client’s circumstances and goals, ensuring advice is tailored, transparent, and always in the client’s best interests. His calm, approachable manner and commitment to clear communication help make what can be a stressful process feel well-managed and reassuring.
In addition to his mortgage expertise, Lee is fully qualified in Equity Release. He has a deep understanding of later-life lending and takes particular care in guiding clients through their options with sensitivity and thoroughness. Lee believes equity release advice should always be clear, well-explained, and free from pressure, helping clients make informed decisions that support their long-term plans and peace of mind.
Based in Bursledon, Lee lives with his twin daughters, a French Bulldog, and a Puggle. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time outdoors walking the dogs.
Grace Barritt
Mortgage and Protection Advisor
Grace has over five years’ experience in the property and sales industry and is now a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor, having successfully completed her CeMAP qualifications.
Over the past 12 months at Apple Tree, Grace has worked closely with the advisory team as a Mortgage Processor, supporting clients throughout their mortgage journey and gaining in-depth knowledge of lender criteria, case progression, and the end-to-end mortgage process. This hands-on experience has given her a strong foundation and a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver a smooth, well-managed client experience.
Based in Clanfield, Hampshire, Grace offers a fully remote service to clients nationwide. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors walking her cockapoo, Bob.
Grace is known for her organised, approachable manner and is passionate about guiding clients through the mortgage process with clarity and confidence.
Yasmin Clunie
Mortgage Advisor and Processer
Yasmin joins our team as a Mortgage Advisor and Processor, bringing with her a unique blend of financial expertise and people-focused care.
She has six years’ experience as a Mortgage Advisor, having started her career in an estate agency where she spent two years gaining a strong understanding of the property market before going on to achieve her mortgage qualifications.
Yasmin is now returning to the mortgage industry after spending four years working as a nurse. This experience has further strengthened her communication skills, attention to detail, and calm, compassionate approach — qualities that translate seamlessly into supporting clients through what can often feel like a complex and emotional process.
Based in Whiteley, Southampton, Yasmin lives with her husband James and their beautiful daughter Lily-May. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, reading, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Yasmin is passionate about making the mortgage journey feel approachable, well-explained, and stress-free, and she takes real pride in helping clients feel supported every step of the way.
